When can I resume my daily activities?

Most patients can return to their normal daily activities within 24-48 hours after LASIK. You can usually resume work the next day, though we recommend avoiding strenuous activities and swimming for at least a week. Your doctor will provide specific guidelines based on your individual case.

How long does the LASIK procedure take?

The actual LASIK procedure takes only about 10-15 minutes for both eyes. However, you should plan to spend about 2-3 hours at the hospital for pre-operative preparation and post-procedure observation.
